Published on the occasion of an exhibition of the same name at Dominique Lévy Gallery, Senga Nengudi features nylon mesh pantyhose and sand sculptures, made in the early 2010s, that respond directly to her performative, biomorphic series Répondez s’il vous plaît (RSVP) (1975–77). The volume features artwork plates, installation images and archival photography as well as poetry by Lily Bea Moor and essays by Rizvana Bradley, Jessica Bell Brown and Ellen Tani.
